UPDF FC have returned to winning ways thanks to a 3-1 victory over Busoga United in a league game played at Bombo Barracks ground.

Rogers Adriko was the hero, bagging an hat-trick, to relieve pressure on coach Brian Ssenyondo.

Adriko converted from the spot twice in the first half before sealing the win in the second half after Brian Kalumba had brought one back for the Visitors.

It’s the first win for UPDF in 10 games; their last and first win came against Busoga United – coincidentally a Jinja team.

The victory sends UPDF to 10 points from 13 attempts, and the side leapfrogs Blacks Power in 10th position.

For Gaddafi, it’s their fifth loss of the season and the side remain on 18 points.

What Next – UPDF visit Onduparaka on December 21 while Gaddafi will welcome URA on December 20 at Kakindu.
