Uganda Premier League side UPDF has completed the signing of Defensive Midfielder Sam Kintu The-SportsNation has learnt.
Kintu returns to UPDF FC for the second stint having played under Kefa Kisala in 2020, before leaving for Gaddafi FC.
The former Proline Midfielder has been training with the Army side at the Bombo Barracks ground.
He joins as a free agent. He was recently at Kenya Premier League side Kakamega Homeboyz, a side he joined in August 2022.
Kintu becomes UPDF’s second signing after Defender Vuni Bright Joseph.
UPDF has so far been silent in the ongoing transfer window but there are some players who are undergoing trials in a bid to impress new head coach Pius Ngabo.
