Gaddafi FC pulled off an astonishing victory against Arua Hill in a rescheduled Uganda Premier League match held at Paridi Stadium in Adjumani.

The match’s defining moment arrived in the 82nd minute, with Baker Buayala slotting the sole goal of the game, capitalising on an assist from Steven Munguchi.

Originally slated for a 4pm am kickoff on Friday, the game was interrupted due to heavy rain just ten minutes into the match.

And a relentless downpour forced a suspension.

The Uganda Premier League made the decision to resume the match on Friday morning, with the same players on the pitch and the same substitutes as when the match was initially abandoned.

Kickoff on Friday started in the 11th minute.

This loss extended Arua Hill’s disappointing record to four consecutive defeats, as they had previously been beaten by Busoga United, Vipers, and BUL.

As a result, they continued to occupy the bottom spot in the league standings.

On the other hand, Gaddafi FC secured their first win of the season after facing defeats against Vipers, URA, and Kitara, offering hope for improved performances in upcoming matches.
