Police is eager to return to the winning column as they face off against Kaaro Karungi on match-day five of the FUFA Big League at Kavumba.

This marked Police’s first loss of points this season, following victories against Young Elephant, Jinja North, and Ndejje University.

The Peace-Keepers will be missing Defender Denis Otim due to an injury sustained in a recent friendly match with their reserve team, Police Young FC.

First-choice goalkeeper Davis Mutebi is unavailable due to family matters, and Edward Kasibante is set for his debut.

Coached by Simon Peter Mugerwa, Police also played a 1-1 friendly with Vipers – Emmanuel Mugume with their goal – in build up to this game.

As for Kaaro Karungi, they seek revenge after losing 3-1 at Kavumba against the hosts last season.

Kaaro Karungi has shown promise in the current campaign, securing wins against Ndejje and Calvary, drawing 1-1 with Booma, and experiencing their sole defeat against Mbale Heroes.

In the game against Calvary, Ian Amanya and Junior Kawawa netted second-half goals to seal the victory for Kaaro Karungi.
