Preview: BUL FC’s Perfect Start on the Line

SC Villa aims to put a stop to BUL FC’s flawless start in the new Premier League season as they clash on Match-day Five at Wankulukuku.

BUL has triumphed in all four matches this season, including away wins against Bright Stars and Arua Hill, and have conceded only once this once so far.

They come into tie on the back of a 3-0 win over Maroons, in a game their first choice goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa was on the bench after returning from the National team duties.

Under the guidance of Coach Abbey Kikomeko, BUL has made a remarkable recovery from setbacks experienced when Alex Isabirye took over at Vipers last season.

Nevertheless, facing SC Villa represents their most significant challenge so far.

SC Villa has garnered five points in four games and as they face the league leaders, they will harbor hopes of securing a victory.

In their recent match against defending champions Vipers at Kitende, they managed a 1-1 draw after losing their league opener to Kitara at Wankulukuku.

Kenneth Ssemakula and goalkeeper Norman Angufidru will feel they could have performed better in the lead-up to Patrick Mbowa’s equalizer, which occurred after Gavin Kizito had given them an early lead.

The Jogoos displayed a positive and attacking style in their game, and if they maintain that mindset on Tuesday, BUL may find it challenging to leave Wankulukuku unscathed.
