Ogwang Scores Two Late Goals As Police Beat Blacks Power

Police needed two late goals from Isaac Ogwang, including a long-range drive, to beat Blacks Power 3-2 in a FUFA Big League game at Kavumba recreation ground.

Had Police Lost to Blacks Power, the Cops would’ve dropped to second position on the FUFA Big League table.

Ogwang scored in 86th minute and in stoppage time to grab the three points for the Cops at Kavumba Recreation Center.

Daniel Otim scored direct from a freekick to put the visitors ahead in the 8th minute.

With three minutes added on the first half’s 45, Daniel Jakony scored the equaliser for Police, heading-in from close range to ensure that the two teams went for the break on level terms.

In the 73rd minute, Paul Musamali headed-in to restore Blacks Power’s lead.

With only four minutes left on the clock to play for, Ogwang converted from the spot after a foul on Herman Wasswa in the box.

In the second minute of stoppage time, Ogwang’s shot from long range went past goalkeeper Tony Kyamera, and that proved enough to grant Police all the three points.
