Ndejje University squandered a promising two-goal lead at halftime, succumbing to a 4-2 defeat against Kiyinda Boys in a FUFA Big League match at the Arena of Visions, Luweero.

Initially taking the lead through Francis Onekalit’s penalty at the half-hour mark, Ndejje extended their advantage just before halftime with a goal by substitute Alfred Onek, replacing Derrick Otim, with a well-curled shot into the net.

However, Kiyinda Boys orchestrated a stunning turnaround in the second half, scoring four unanswered goals to stun the hosts.

Kigozi Ambroze pulled one back just two minutes after the restart, followed by Yassar Mugerwa’s penalty goal leveling the score at the hour mark.

Amuli Mukasa then completed the remarkable comeback in the 68th minute and added another goal three minutes later to seal the victory.

Ndejje’s disappointing result leaves them with only one win in four home games, dropping to 14th place, just above the bottom, with a tally of 7 points from nine games.

On the other hand, Kiyinda Boys, ending their four-game winless streak, climb to ninth place with 11 points following their third win of the season.
