Preview: Wakiso Giants Want To Stop Leaders BUL

Wakiso Giants will strive to break a five-match winless streak as they face table-topping BUL in their ninth fixture in a League game at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium.

In their recent five matches, they managed only two draws following three consecutive losses after their solitary win this season, a 2-0 victory against UPDF at Bombo two months ago.

However, their subsequent games saw defeats against URA (0-1), Kitara (1-3), Vipers (0-3), along with draws against Express (0-0) and NEC (1-1).

Struggling to secure a win at home, they’ve scored merely twice and conceded six goals at Wakisha. Last season’s fixture at Kabaka Kyabaggu concluded in a goalless draw.

Currently sitting 14th in the standings with only six points, this marks their worst start since joining the league in the 2019/20 season.

On the other hand, visitors BUL aim to maintain their top spot in the standings, sitting four points clear with 21 points.

They’ve triumphed in seven out of eight games, scoring 12 goals and conceding just five.

Heading to Wakissha, they seek redemption on the road after their sole loss to UPDF and are determined to uphold their title aspirations.
