Preview: Express Out to Stop BUL

Express will aim to halt leaders BUL when they clash on Tuesday in a league match at Wankulukuku.

Currently placed eighth, Express trails the league leaders by 12 points.

They’re enduring a four-game winless streak, having suffered defeats in their last two matches against Maroons and URA.

In the game against URA, Express squandered a winning position after taking the lead through Isaac Wagoina.

However, they faltered defensively, conceding to goals from Moses Aliro and Laban Tibita, with goalkeeper Martin Ssenkooto fouling Joseph Ssemujju for a penalty, while Isa Lumu’s delivery led to Tibita’s winning goal.

Improvement, especially defensive wise is necessary against BUL, who boast in-form striker Alex Kitata, having scored seven goals.

BUL has won four of their five away matches, with their sole loss coming against UPDF in Bombo.

In their recent match against Wakiso Giants, they secured a 3-0 victory, capitalizing on their chances despite not dominating the game entirely.

Express beat BUL home and away last season: Allan Kayiwa scored the only goal in a 1-0 win at Wankulukuku.

Then in Njeru, First half goals from Boban Zirintusa and Anwar Ntege inspired the Red Eagles to a 2-1 victory at BUL.

Goalkeeper Abdul Kimera scored a late own goal for BUL in the added minutes after Ntege was sent off.
