Arua Hill took to the field with just eight players before enduring a devastating 7-1 loss against Kitara in Masindi.

The goal parade for Kitara featured George Ssenkaaba’s brace, alongside contributions from Denis Omedi, Jude Ssemugabi, Luwalo Kipper, Frank Zaga Tymwesigye, and Living Kabon, amplifying the magnitude of the victory.

Gaddafi Wahab salvaged a semblance of dignity for Arua Hill by netting a free-kick goal, slightly alleviating the scoreboard’s lopsidedness.

This latest setback plunges Arua Hill deeper into their season-long financial struggles, casting a regrettable shadow over the Uganda Premier League.

Earlier, the club’s coach, Livingston Mbabazi, reportedly tendered his resignation, opting out of the journey to Masindi.

Despite Captain Wahab’s public announcement of an impending departure in January via Twitter, he made the trip and securing the solitary goal for the beleaguered club.

Arua Hill, grappling with their third consecutive defeat, remains rooted at the bottom after thirteen league games, having managed a meager five points.

Meanwhile, Kitara climbed to second place with 26 points, but have played an extra game compared to Vipers (24) who face Express at Wankulukuku on Saturday.
