The Bombo-based Uganda Premier League side, UPDF FC, has acquired the services of forward Mubarak Nsubuga.
Struggling in the first half of the season and finishing second from the bottom with a mere nine points, UPDF FC aims to strengthen their attacking prowess, having only scored eleven goals in fifteen matches.
Nsubuga, with his extensive experience from stints at Police FC, Express, Wakiso Giants, and a spell in Rwanda, is expected to bolster the team’s frontline.
During the initial round, Pius Ngabo’s squad managed to net eleven goals, with seven coming from forwards and the remaining four from defenders.
Achumu Faridi Rashid led the forward line with five goals, while Eseru Robert and Nsimbe Jibril Badru each contributed a goal.
Vuni Bright Joseph tallied two goals, while Bernard Muwanga and Tebandeke Christopher completed the score sheet for UPDF FC.
