Midfielder Moses Waiswa has mutually parted ways with KCCA, the Lugogo based side has confirmed.
“KCCA FC and player Moses Waiswa Ndhondhi have today, Thursday, January 11, 2024, mutually parted ways with immediate effect,” the club confirmed.
“The Club thanks the player for his services and wishes him well in his future endeavors.”
The former SuperSport United player had five more months left on his two-year contract, as he joined the Kasasiro Boys as free agent in June 2022 and agreed to stay at Lugogo until June 2024.
Waiswa leaves KCCA nineth on the 16-team Uganda Premier League (UPL) table. The Kasasiro Boys have collected just 19 points from the 15 games if the first round – winning just six, drawing once and losing upto eight!
Meanwhile, Waiswa’s departure coincides with another midfielders return. KCCA is set to officially announce the return of midfielder Emmanuel Wasswa who has spent the last five months on loan at another UPL side Express FC.
Wasswa had joined the Red Eagles in August 2023, where he had a brief but fruitful spell, contributing six goals – he scored four and and made two assists.
