Musa Ssali, formerly a Defensive Midfielder for Vipers, has become part of the Uganda Premier League side UPDF FC, The-SportsNation can confirm.
Having been released by Vipers at the commencement of the season, Ssali took a detour to Arua Hill. During his stint at Arua Hill, the midfielder showcased his skills in just eight appearances during the initial half of the season.
The latest development reveals that Ssali has committed to a short six-month contract, securing his presence at the Bombo Barracks Ground until June. Tasked with the responsibility to steer Pius Ngabo’s men back on track after a lackluster first round, Ssali is set to face competition from fellow players such as Adriko Rogers, Sam Kintu, and others.
Amidst their pursuit of survival in the league, UPDF FC is actively engaging in the transfer window. Notable acquisitions include Goalkeeper Richard Anyama, Defender Ronald Owiny Ogenga, and Mubarak Nsubuga, showcasing the team’s strategic approach to fortify its squad and tackle the challenges ahead.
