BUL Football Club has successfully completed the signing of midfielder Ibrahim Orit from Arua Hill, sealing a promising two-year contract with the Eastern Giants.

Orit’s impactful presence on the pitch was evident during his time at Vipers, where he played a pivotal role in securing four trophies, including two Uganda Premier League titles and two Uganda Cups.
The midfielder, known for his versatility, contributed seven goals and two assists over three seasons with Vipers.
Prior to his stint with Vipers, Orit showcased his skills at Mbarara City, amassing 30 assists and scoring eight goals during his three-year tenure.
His impressive performance didn’t go unnoticed, earning him a place in the national team, where he notably scored in the 5-2 defeat against Morocco during the 2020 African Nations Championship.
Speaking about his move to BUL, Orit expressed enthusiasm, stating, “BUL is a good club with big ambitions as they have been fighting for the title for the last three seasons. We have a good collection of talent, and if we blend well with what I bring to the table, we shall win trophies.”
Known for his dynamic style of play, Orit primarily operates as a winger but has showcased versatility by playing on both flanks and behind the main striker. Reflecting on his role, he added, “As a winger, I will put in all I can and create opportunities for the strikers.”
Orit’s journey to professional football started at Aloet Primary School in Soroti, eventually leading him through various clubs, including Odudwi FC, Soroti Garage FC, Junior Eagles, and Future Stars. The turning point in his career came in 2017 when he joined Mbarara City in the Uganda Premier League.
After successful stints with Mbarara City and Vipers, Orit donned the colors of Arua Hill last year. Now, with his move to BUL, he aims to contribute significantly to the team’s quest for glory, backed by his impressive track record and commitment to excellence.
