Rogers Kiwanuka Finds New Home after SC Villa Release

Rogers Kiwanuka, recently let go by SC Villa, has secured a spot at UPL side Gaddafi, The-SportsNation can report on authority.

Kiwanuka, who joined SC Villa in 2022, struggled to secure regular playing time before his release recently.

The versatile forward, also capable of playing in midfield, aims to make a significant impact at his new club, especially following the departure of Striker Benson Muhindo.

Gaddafi has been active in the transfer market, not only securing Kiwanuka but also adding Right back Jackson Wabuleta from Big League side Blacks Power.

Wabuleta brings experience from his stints with Calvary, Soroti City, and Light SS.

Another notable signing for Gaddafi is former SC Villa and KCCA defender Hassan Musana, who is returning to the club to strengthen their defensive lineup.

Under head coach David Mutono, Gaddafi concluded the first round of the league in 13th place with 16 points, just a point above the relegation zone.

The team is gearing up for the second round, commencing on February 9 with a crucial home fixture against URA, followed by an away clash against Vipers at Kitende a week later.
