Uganda Premier League team UPDF FC has finalized the acquisition of ex-SC Villa midfielder, Davis Ssekajja.
Ssekajja, released by the Record Champions due to limited playing time, has committed to a six-month employment contract until the season’s conclusion.
Choosing UPDF FC over the Jogoos ensures him more playing opportunities, though he faces competition from players like Adriko Rogers, Sam Kintu, Kawooya Edward, and Shugai Kalisa.
Initially a backup plan for Pius Ngabo, Ssekajja joined after Musa Ssali opted for Express despite earlier agreements.
The Army side strengthens its roster with signings like goalkeeper Anyama Richard and forward Mubarak Nsubuga, with defenders Ronald Owiny Ogenga and Samson Kasozi pending official announcement.
