KCCA Unveil Former Vipers Goalkeeper

KCCA FC have added another goalkeeper Mutwalibi Mugolofa to their squad as the first signing in the mid-season transfer window.

The goalkeeper joins the Kasasiro Boys from FUFA Big League entity Jinja North, contracted on short term to stay at Lugogo until the end of the 2023-24 season, but with an option to renew.

Mugolofa, a FUFA Juniors League graduate who has also previously played for Mbarara City FC and Vipers SC is braced up for the daunting task that awaits him at Lugogo.

“I am happy to be here. I set goals for myself this year and part of those were to get back to my very best,” Mugolofa told KCCA media.

“KCCA FC offers me an opportunity and I have come here to compete with the other good goalkeepers at the club.”

“I am pleased with the philosophy at the club and I cannot wait to get started when the second round resumes.”

At Lugogo, Mugolofa will battle for playing time with three other goalkeepers; Derrick Ochan, Anthony Emojong, and Juma Mutebi for the rest of the 2023-24 season.

Mugolofa will wear the shirt number 28 at KCCA, and is licensed to feature for the club in all competitions.

As the Uganda Premier League (UPL) returns this week with the second round, the goalkeeper will be in action for KCCA on Friday, if selected for the game against BUL.
