•Gaddafi 0-1 URA
•Mbarara City 3-1 Express
•KCCA 0-0 BUL
KCCA and BUL failed to ignite the pitch, settling for a tedious goalless draw in a Uganda Premier League game under Lugogo floodlights.
The match, marred by frequent interruptions and a notably physical contest, saw BUL forced into early substitutions as Martin Aprem and Douglas Muganga succumbed to injuries within the first stanza.
Despite KCCA’s dominance, they struggled to breach a resilient BUL defense.
Shaban Muhammad missed a close-range header from Jackson Ogwang’s cross, while Emmanuel Alex Wasswa, Etienne Katenga, and Peter Lwasa failed to find the mark from promising positions.
Mustafa Kizza’s freekick was thwarted by BUL’s goalkeeper, Tom Ikara.
On the offensive end, BUL failed to pose a significant threat, with Walter Ochora’s header blocked from a well-taken corner, and the subsequent rebound sent over the bar.
The draw leaves BUL at the league’s summit with 34 points, holding a slim four-point lead over second-placed Vipers, who have a game in hand.
KCCA, on the other hand, remains in the ninth position with 20 points.
The result means KCCA have now dropped four points to BUL this season, having lost the reverse fixture 1-0 in the first round to Nicholas Mwere’s goal at Njeru.
