The 9-year-old prodigy showcased his prowess on the international stage by triumphing in the U-11 and U-13 categories at the World Table Tennis Youth Contender event in Doha.
Sebatindira’s stellar performance included a commanding victory over Saudi Arabia’s Faris Ali and host player AbdulAziz Abdullah.
Grace Nabaggala claimed the top honor in rugby, following her outstanding contributions to the Kisubi Pacers and Lady Rugby Cranes Sevens teams.
Nabaggala’s pivotal role in securing a fourth-place finish for the Lady Rugby Cranes in the Dubai Challenger event earned her accolades.
She amassed an impressive 29 points, combining her scoring prowess with exceptional leadership on the field, overcoming stiff competition from her teammate Peace Lekuru.
Colline Batussa’s exceptional skills and contributions propelled him to victory in the hockey category.
Batussa’s remarkable performances, including crucial goals in league matches and the Uganda Cup final, showcased his invaluable presence on the field.
His leadership and scoring abilities played a pivotal role in Weatherhead’s double victory in both the league and the Uganda Cup.
Kamada Ntege, known as ‘Sure Fire,’ clinched the boxing award for his remarkable victory in the ABU East and Central Regional title bout.
Ntege’s triumph over Ali Hamis Muzei from Tanzania underscored his dominance in the ring.
Despite facing stiff competition from Zebra Ssenyange Jr., Ntege’s skill and determination secured him the prestigious accolade.
