•Maroons 0-0 Wakiso Giants
•Vipers 0-0 Gaddafi
Vipers displayed frustration as they struggled to break through against Visitors Gaddafi, resulting in a goalless draw at Kitende.
Despite their dominance throughout the match, the Venoms were unable to capitalize on their opportunities, leaving them unable to narrow the gap with the league leaders.
With 31 points, Vipers remain in third place, trailing BUL by six points, who have played an additional game.
The outcome proved disappointing for Vipers, who squandered several chances that could have secured them a comfortable victory.
Allan Okello’s strikes twice struck the woodwork, while Eric Kambale’s header was also denied by the crossbar in the second half.
Abubakali Walusimbi, brought on as a substitute, came agonizingly close to scoring, only to see his effort narrowly miss the target.
Additionally, Vipers felt aggrieved when a penalty appeal for a foul on Walusimbi was dismissed by the referee.
Despite Gaddafi’s limited attacking threat, Sharif Ssengendo came closest to scoring for the visitors, narrowly missing the target.
Currently, Gaddafi sits in 13th place with 17 points, just two points clear of the relegation zone.
