Ugandan forward Rogers Mato has transferred to another European top flight club, just months after he left the country for Turkey.
Mato has been unveiled as a new player for Brera Strumica, a first division club in Macedonia, joining in midseason from Turkish second division outfit Sanliurfaspor.
The Macedonian club officially announced the Ugandan player’s arrival through a public post on their X (formerly Twitter) handle on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
It’s been less than a year now since the former KCCA and Proline forward signed a four-year deal with Sanliurfaspor in August 2023. Six months later, the Ugandan forward has been unveiled in Macedonia.
Before Mato, Brera had also earlier on unveiled Fenias Bernardo ‘Saimone’ João Cariche, Celton Jenito Jamisse and João Jorge Pelembe.
