Wakiso Giants: Ayub Kisaliita Extends Stay

Wakiso Giants Football Club midfielder Ayub Kisaliita has signed a contract extension, curbing away any rumour that the player will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

Kisalita, who recently had a stint with Express FC, has penned a new contract that will keep him at the club until June 2022.

The development was confirmed via the club’s official website, which adds that the player will have an option to extend his new contract for another year, after expiry.

Kisalita has a had a troubled second round of the ongoing Big league where he has missed some games due to injuries. He has totalled 17 games so far this season.

As quoted by the club website, the crafty midfielder revealed his delight:

“I’m very happy with everything that involves the club, my teammates, the staff and the management team.”

“This was the main reason I signed. I’m very happy because they have treated my very well since the first day I got here and am looking for many more seasons here.”

Kisalita joins defender Hassan Wasswa Dazo who also extended his contract last week.

Wakiso Giants are strong favourites to earn this year’s promotion to the top flight. The side top the Elgon group with 37 points, five above Kyetume FC in second.

Ibrahim Kirya’s charges will face Entebbe FC on May 2, at the Kyabazinga Stadium, Bugembe in Jinja.
