Bright Stars Unveil New Trio

Uganda Premier League side Bright Stars have officially unveiled their three latest signings.

This, is a great boost for the club as they continue to intensify their preparations for the ongoing 2019/20 season.

The team, spearheaded by Club Director Grace Kwizera, paraded Ronald Ssempala, Hamis Gabite and Derrick Kiggundu.

The trio were unveiled in a short event held in the Serena Hotel gardens in Kampala with Club coach Kisekka Mohamed, Technical Director Ian Mutenda and other club officials present.

Kiggundu is a central midfielder who played for Nyamityobora last season, he also had stints with Kayosa and Nabugabo.

Gabite is an industrious midfielder from Bugiri Deschool. He has also represented Bugerere in Masaza Cup.

Ssempala is a striker from Nkambi Coffee. He is currently playing for Uganda Martyrs University (Nkozi) team where he has scored six goals in the University Football league.

These join other new signings which were unveiled recently that include Nicholas Ssebwato, Godwin Buule, Joseph Janjali, Norman Odipo among others.

The club finished mid table last season, in 8th with 41 points.

They are hosting their league games at Wankulukuku and will be hoping for the best this season. They lost 3-1 to Vipers before holding Express FC.

Next on their menu is a game against Busoga United on September 7, before hosting Wakiso Giants four days later.
