Kagimu To Reprise Anchorman Role As Mckinstry Names Starting XI

URA FC midfielder Shafic Kagimu will reprise his anchoring role in the midfield when Uganda Cranes face Somalia on Monday at Lugogo.

Kagimu played just in-front of defenders, linking the middle of the park against Burundi but he was later taken off for Nicholas Kasozi in the second half.

He has been asked to do the role again, and will be required to intercept, dispossess the ball and start attacks from the middle of the park.

“Its about having the ball, he understands what we have to do, is a good passer and Always available for the ball. He dropped a little bit deeper so much in the first half though,” Mckinstry commented on Kagimu’s performance in the Burundi game.

Mckinstry has made two changes in the starting lineup; Joel Madondo (Busoga United) and Joachim Ojera (URA) come in for Ben Ocen (Police) and Viane Ssekajugo (Wakiso Giants) respectively.
