Reports: Allan Okello Linked To A Morocco Deal

KCCA FC youngster Allan Okello is on Wydad Casablanca radar, reports in Morocco have reported.

Okello becomes the second UPL player to be linked to Wydad after reports of Fahad Bayo emerged last month.

Like Bayo, a source in Morocco has claimed that Okello’s name was put forward by former Uganda Cranes coach Sebastien Desabre.

Okello, who is the reigning FUFA player of the year 2019, has been in the press the whole of 2019 after he, and teammate Mustafa Kizza, refused to renew their contracts that will expire at the end of the season.

The tricky young midfielder who has a strong left foot and a fans darling, had trials last year with Swiss’ FC Zurich but the deals never materialised.

Roving left back Kizza also held trials in Spain last year.

Reports from StarTimes Stadium, home of KCCA FC, claim that the defending champions tabled contract talks but the duo – Okello and Kizza – refused as they have zeroed down on leaving as free agents for greener pastures.
