What To Expect As KCCA FC Launches TV Show

KCCA FC graces new heights as the club is set to launch a TV show.

The KCCA FC TV show will air every Sunday, beginning on June 7 at 10pm on Sanyuka TV (StarTimes).

This will see weekly coverage of KCCA FC with latest news, highlights of KCCA games, exclusive interviews with players, staff and fans, off pitch moments among others.

“We are benchmarking with the best clubs and these are the results. We have decided to go this way because It helps us archive our content as a club and relay it to our fans on TV, and it is also one of the communication platforms we have as a club,” KCCA head of communications Moses Magero told this website.

“Our fans shall be able to have their voice heard on this platform. It is also a revenue center. We expect sponsors to come on board and this money can meet many needs of the club.

“Viewers will get a chance to find out more about their players. Their on and off pitch life, their football journey etc.”

Magero also hinted that the club is hoping to have “our own 24/7 run TV channel” in the future.

KCCA FC chairman Martin Ssekajja tweeted that TV is another platform for the fans to air their views and also get to know the players off pitch.

This comes in the wake of news last week that indicated that the club will be releasing some of the players that include Muzamir Mutyaba, Mike Mutyaba, Saddam Juma among others.

KCCA will not be the first club to launch a TV show. Villa had one in 2011/12 airing on NBS TV before it was cancelled.
