Joseph Nsubuga: SC Villa Defender Renews Contract

Sports Club Villa defender Joseph Nsubuga has renewed his contract which will keep him at the club untill August 2022.

The player joined SC Villa on 1st July 2016 from Bright Stars.

In a statement from the SC Villa website, Nsubuga said:

“It has been four years since I arrived at Villa park, time has soared so quickly and I am proud to sign a new contract and continue with my career with this great team.

“I love playing for the club and looking forward to what the club holds. So the hard work continues so that I can continue living my dream.”

Nsubuga featured in few games last season for Villa because of injuries.

“I would love to thank the adminstration of Villa, team mates, fans and friends who stood with me during the long injury I had. I can’t wait to get back into the game to hear the loyal club fans support us, I want to let everyone know that I will give my everything to repay the club and the fans.”

Villa coach Edward Kaziba who has been behind Villa’s top performance last season believes Joseph nsubuga deserved the contract.

“He is a great player, he deserves this contract, he has worked hard to get out of long injury and you will see him grind it everyday. He is a player with a deep knowledge of the game and can’t wait to have him back and give us the depth were are looking for in defender of his potential and experience and is a top player that a team like villa missed last season.”

Joseph Nsubuga becomes the second player, after goalkeeper Saidi Keni who also renewed, to renew his contract ahead of the 2020/21 season.
