Magogo has been doing underground work ahea dof the polls; he bought an ambulance, mattresses, iron sheets, and also contributed funds to Sacco’s and religious groups in his home area.

It remains to be seen whether Magogo will relinquish his seat as FUFA President after close sources have suggested that he has already groomed Ronnie Kalema for the role.

However, despite FIFA statutes having no room for political interference, the rules do not prohibit federation presidents to run for political offices.
