Kirabira – Kyetume Saga: Player Asks Boss For Forgiveness

Embattled midfielder Isaac Kirabira has asked his Kyetume FC Chairman Reuben Mubiru Kaggwa for forgiveness.

This follows media reports that made rounds on Wednesday that the player was evicted from his house due to rent arrears.

The stories branded Kyetume FC as a club that has not paid Kirabira which is not the truth, according to our sources.

It was reported that Kirabira was evicted from his house over seven months unpaid rent.

In his call to Ruben Mubiru, Kirabira refuted the claims and said that he has not been evicted and clarified that the uncleared rent is four months not seven.

Its the friend who suggested to solicit funds on Kirabira’s behalf before the midfielder found the news in the press the next morning.

He asked Ruben Kimera for forgiveness and told him that “Journalists should not put you on pressure my boss.”

A source has confirmed that Kirabira has been paid in time and received Sh200000 on September 1 – He was supposed to get Sh500000 but he had already received Sh300000 in advance.
