Moses Okot: Midfielder Ends Three-Year Stay At Bright Stars

Stylish midfielder Moses Okot has ended his three-year spell at Uganda Premier League side Soltilo Bright Stars FC after the expiration of his contract.

Okot confirmed the development in a farewell message he posted on his official pages.

He joined Bright Stars in August 2017 from Hope Doves.

“I don’t know what the future may bring, but I know the lessons that I have learned playing at Soltilo Bright Stars FC and have helped make me a better player. I appreciate the Bright Stars family for the love and support during the past three years,” he posted.

“To the manager, the chairman, the wonderful technical staff and administrators, the supporters and most importantly the amazing teammates, I say thank you for making football such an enjoyable and memorable experience.”

He commended former coaches Fred Kajoba, Paul Kiwanuka, Meddie Kiseka, Simon Peter Mugerwa and officials at the club like Ahmed Hussein, Ian Mutenda, Moses Rwakitare and Harold Atukwase for “always pushing me to be the best version of myself.”

Okot has also featured for The Saints, Gulu United Academy and Uganda Martyrs University in the University Football League where he was the MVP and Top scorer in 2013.

Soltilo Bright Stars has signed Samson Mutyaba, Kisitu Nvule, Marvin Ssenyange, Samuel Ssekamate, Allan Katwe, Benson Wagima among others.
