URA FC came from a goal down to beat Kitara FC and move into fourth place on the Uganda Premier League table.

Mukwala Steven, Majwega Brian and skipper Shafik Kagimu were all on target for the Tax Collectors as they took all three points from Kavumba Recreation Grounds.

Denis Monday and Ronald Kyamanywa both netted from the spot for Kitara’s goals.

The hosts started the better side scoring inside the opening two minutes as Kyamanywa converted from the spot following a foul-in the area by Patrick Mbowa.

Three minutes later, Mukwala headed in from a perfect Seruyidde corner to level matters for the visitors.

In the ninth minute, Kagimu had a nice interplay with Brian Majwega before the latter slotted in from close range to double hand URA their first lead.

In the 37th minute, Kagimu made it 3-1 in favour of Sam Siimbwa’s side, collecting from Ibrahim Dada before rifling into the back of the net.

At the start of the second half, Simbwa made three changes with Sseruyidde Moses, Dada Ibrahim, and Ntege Ivan making way for Nkuubi Brian, Ojera Joackiam, and Hudu Mulikyi respectively, hoping to kill off the game.

However, it was the hosts who scored, eight minutes later as Monday converted from the spot after Ashraf Mandela handled in the area.

URA could have added a fourth with 11 minutes to play but Benjamin Nyakoojo headed onto the cross bar.

The results see URA move to the fourth spot with 18points, after nine games.

For Kitara, they remain winless so far and sit second from bottom of the pile with just a single point from nine games.
