Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga registered their second consecutive victory in the FUFA Women Super League as they beat Kawempe Muslim 1-0 to go on top of Group 1.

Captiain Gloria Namugerwa struck the all important goal to see her side Uganda Martyrs earn a comfortable victory.

Namugerwa struck inside 23 minutes with her effort from a free kick beating Kawempe’s goal keeper Juliet Adele to go into the back of the net.

Uganda Martyrs have now registered their second victory having beaten Makerere University by the same score line in their opening game on Monday.

On the other hand, Kawempe Muslim suffer their first  loss in this season having thumped Kampala Queens 4-0 in their opening game.

Uganda Martyrs now go top of Group 1 with six points in two games while Kampala Muslim drop to second place on 3 points.

In their next assignments, Kawempe Muslim will face Tooro Queens on Wednesday April 21st while Uganda Martyrs will take on Kampala Queens the same day.
