The FUFA Women Elite League will continue on Saturday with two quarter final matches at the Fufa Technical Centre in Njeru.

The first game, in the morning, will see Kings of Kings take on Bunyaruguru Girls while Rines WFC will be up against Dynamic SS Jjeza later in the afternoon.

One of the most anticipated games of the last 8 is the Western derby match between Fortportal based side Kings of Kings against Rubirizi district’s Bunyaruguru Girls FC.

Kings of Kings will rely more on their sharp striker Kanyinginya Sharon, who already has three goals to her name.

For Bunyaruguru Girls, they will look up to Halima Katushabe and Alupo Norah who have two goals each in this year’s competition.

To reach the knock out stage, Kings of Kings finished as group A leaders with six points while Bunyaruguru Girls were runners ups in Group B, qualifying with six points as well.

On the other hand, Rines WFC will be up against Dynamic SS Jjeza later in the in the Afternoon.

To reach this stage, Rines finished top of group B, earning maximum points from their group while Dynamic SS finished as runners ups in Group A with 4 points.

The winner between Kings of Kings of Kings and Bunyaruguru Girls will take on the winner between Rines WFC and Dynamic SS in the semi finals.

It should be noted that just as the concluded FUFA Women Super League, the Women Elite League is also played in a tournament format.

At the end of the season, the top three teams will qualify to the FUFA Women Super League.
