Abdallah Mubiru Names Starting XI To Face South Africa

Uganda Cranes coach Abdallah Mubiru has revealed his selection to face Bafana Bafana in an international friendly.

Chippa United goalkeepeer Ismael Watenga starts in the posts ahead of Mathias Kigonya and Charles Lukwago.

Paul Willa and Mustafa Kizza start at fullback while Murushid Juuko and Halid Lwaliwa are the two centre backs.

Simba’s Taddeo Lwanga will be in the defensive midfield and he is joined by Shafic Kagimu and Moses Waiswa in the middle of the park.

Allan Okello and Ibrahim Orit play either side of captain Emmanuel Okwi upfront in what looks like a 4-3-3.

Juuko, Waiswa, Orit, Kizza and Okwi are the five players in the starting team that also started against Malawi in Blantyre.

The game kicks off at 7pm (EAT) at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg and will be broadcast live on UBC TV.
